MILKSHAKE DAY
Our debut social media post was dedicated to Milkshake Day, marking my initiation into food styling. Capturing the perfect shot was challenging; we had to work swiftly to keep the whipped cream from melting and settling. The primary hurdle was the shifting blue flag in between shots, but we overcame it to achieve this enticing result. The best part? We got to savor the delicious milkshake afterward, making the effort entirely worthwhile!
WAFFLE DAY
This marked my directorial debut in a photoshoot, and the theme was none other than Waffle Day! Opting for a deconstructed concept, I played with Udders' renowned ice cream waffles to create a visually appealing composition.
Behind the scenes, we innovatively achieved the floating waffles and ice cream. Flash-freezing ice cream scoops on skewers allowed us to capture them separately. The waffles, also placed on skewers, were sprinkled with flour to emulate the powdered sugar that Udders generously adds to their ice cream waffles.
Together with the power of Photoshop, this was the final outcome. This shoot was honestly super fun and I'm very pleased with the results.
SOLE BROTHER COLLAB
This post captured a collaboration between Udders and Sole Brothers, a local shoe customization company. The featured shoes bore the phrase "Monstrously crunchy," inspiring us to creatively incorporate crushed-up monster cones and cone sleeves to convey the theme.
Additionally, we flash froze scoops of ice cream strategically placed around the shoes for a visually engaging result.
#STAYINWITHUDDERS
This post marked the onset of the circuit breaker period, and it aimed to inform our customers about our continued operations with the added convenience of delivery services. To bring a fresh dynamic to our Instagram, dominated by photoshoot posts, I opted for an animated GIF. Taking inspiration from ice cream trucks that roam neighborhoods, I created the Udders ice cream truck to convey the message dynamically and playfully.

This was the final GIF.

APRIL FOOLS DAY
For April Fools' Day, we aimed to inject some quirky and light-hearted humor into the midst of a global pandemic. The concept? Promoting our mango sorbet as a face mask. In a rare twist, I found myself in front of the camera for this shoot.
The mask featured in the photo is, indeed, actual mango sorbet cleverly smeared on a sheet mask to prevent it from slipping off. However, we encountered a small hiccup – we forgot to procure cucumbers for the classic eye masks. No worries, though; we improvised by printing out cucumber slices on paper and cutting them out. Despite the messiness of the shoot, the end results made all the trouble worthwhile.

WORK FROM HOME
During the period of working from home when photoshoots were challenging, I turned to illustrations for the next few posts. The first one served as a filler post on Instagram, dedicated to those indulging in binge-watching Korean dramas while at home.
FATHERS DAY
This post, crafted for Father's Day, originated from a lighthearted conversation with my supervisor about her favorite ice cream flavor—vanilla. The teasing about its simplicity inspired the concept: "The Types of Dads."
I represented three dad archetypes with flavors from Udders Ice Cream. The sophisticated or "atas" dad was humorously matched with Bailey's & Bourbon, the fitness enthusiast dad with mango sorbet, and the classic or "traditional" dad with Vanilla Beanz. Illustrating these quirky representations was a delightful experience, and it even sparked a personal touch as I ordered some Vanilla ice cream for my own traditional dad.
OTHERS
In addition to my design responsibilities, I had the opportunity to explore various facets of the company, including e-commerce and production. Venturing into the factory, I actively contributed to the production line, engaging in tasks like packing ice cream while chatting with the friendly staff.
On different occasions, I lent a hand in the e-commerce department, taking on roles like photoshopping images for delivery platforms and handling administrative tasks. I also played a part in creating posters and signs for the physical shops. This holistic experience allowed me to gain insights into different aspects of the company beyond graphic design.

This is Eugenia my beloved intern mate who went through these 3 months with me and our office dog, Cheese!
